3 absolutely appalling sitters missed in a row, should have a bigger margin heading into the last. Have kept the door ajar for South

3/4 time

NWD 7.6
SA 4.4

South kicked the first 2 goals, all the Legs since. They missed a few opportunities in front of goal to seal the win that quarter

Wasn’t pretty and we didn’t score a goal after half time but a very gutsy win

This is why South supporters never feel overly confident of victory..

13 goals and 203 tackles on a perfect night for footy. A very dull spectacle with countless stoppages, Puopolo taking a hanger in the second term to provide a rare highlight.

Well done to the Legs, they scrapped it out far better than we did and should have won by more.

Any word on why Broadbent was out? Certainly was missed.

Still odds on and deserved favourites still for Sept, in my book.

We lost on a Friday nite at Norwood in 2019
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Broadbent a late withdrawal with a slight groin strain. Will be ok for next week.

An insipid performance from South, with far too many non contributors.

Probably reading our own press a bit ...

Very average performance by South.
Forward line non-existent with many players that went MIA.

Norwood just completely shut our running game down and we had no answers.
Lots of stoppages and not a great spectacle to watch.
Norwood would be relived to win that one.

Maybe a loss we needed to regroup for the Eagles next week.
Is out of change.....thanks Cambridge Clarrie!!!

When was the last time a side won without a second half goal?

Not a good game of footy to watch. Skill errors everywhere. Full credit to Norwood, when they got out to a lead they shut down the game well and didn't allow South any space. South struggle with heavily congested contests and this is again a worrying sign if we want to play in the important games at the end of the season (I don't want to say the F word yet).
The Panthers showed good fight and never gave up which was a positive, but an apparent lack of game plan to combat the congestion did us in the end.
On to Oval Ave next week which is another not so happy hunting ground, hopefully we see a response. Go Panthers!

Something terribly wrong with our game when a team wins the game without scoring a goal in the second half.
What can we do to make footy exciting again!!!!!

Just saw Puopolo’s screamer. Pretty sure he’s got mark of year sown up already.
