Or a teaspoon of cement...

Old Man's injury, trust me I know.

Go see a podiatrist. I had calf issues years ago, got me some orthotics, and never torn a calf since.

That may be due to the decreased velocity of your “running”..... ;)

Incorrect. Ran a half marathon after seeing the podiatrist and getting orthotics.

Did 'a calf' injury four weeks ago and for the last week felt absolutely no pain whatsoever so decided I would train last night with the aim of playing tomorrow.

Got through training with no problems at a pretty good speed and almost 100% effort. After training it gradually got tight again despite stretching and warming down.

Have woken up today and I can just feel the tiniest of 'knots' 'pains' in there. Have been named in the team for tomorrow which im excited for as we are undefeated in all grades and have a hard team to crack.

Now im not sure if ill be right by tomorrow or I ring the coach now and tell him im no good.

Never had soft tissue muscle injuries in my life before but this bloody annoying.

Mate the A grade coach says you must play because he doesn't want to. :D

Haha

I have the luxury of being able to work from home so have been sitting here icing on and off all day so reckon I’m good to go.

The amount of pop up ads and banner ads appearing all the time on here, how do I get rid of them? (and they're not porn related unfortunately)

Losing my job. Won’t go into details. But it’s been an ongoing investigation over 7 months which could’ve been done in a week. Also added on fake allegations so they don’t have to pay me out when the group are made redundant at the end of this year. 13 years down the drain. Treated like shit. And made a scapegoat.
I’ve essentially been off work for 6 months while they “investigated”. The financial and emotional toll has been huge

Shit, sorry to hear, doesn't sound unlike something Ive been thru recently. Make sure you push the union to do something for you, they have plenty of levers they can pull, they just need encouragement to do something.

Letter from a debt collection company today over a 2018 Centrelink overpayment.

Not disputing the payment but got no prior notification and when asked why told that all debts were placed on hold because of COVID

They didn't like the fact when i pointed out that COVID didnt exist back in 2018 and was March 2020 when it arrived here

Typical Govt departments
