R9 Centrals v Eagles Saturday 1410

Postby DOC » Mon May 31, 2021 8:23 pm

Centrals were in the game till late in the last quarter against South and the Eagles accounted for Norwood quite easily.

Marsh will miss for Centrals while Toumpas is unlikely for the Eagles.

I think the Eagles will win comfortably, six goals.

Come on "Doc" name the Eagles player you say is leaving at the end of June. You can't start an allegation without finishing it. Credibility is on the line here.

Given the Eagles have been one of the biggest supporters of the AFL reserves, it would be a small justice if they lose Stengle and Knight tomorrow.

That's almost a well formed haiku. Let's tweak it...

You need to repeat it in a deep, gruff, Jappy voice.

In the event Stengle gets picked up tomorrow, and with T Menzel out, that may unsettle the Eags a bit. Hosko and Pres back for us will improve us significantly. Throw in the fact we are due for a win at home...(seems incredulous to even write that).... we might be a silly chance. Cant see the 1000 strong crowd giving D Menzel an overly warm welcome back...

Troy, bit of a loss for us but both the Brothers have been amazing for the Eags. I dont understand why Centrals gave them the flick. ;)

Just DON'T believe you. You mentioned the unnamed player was leaving after the end of June. When you originally posted your rumour Sharman didn't even know he would be drafted by St Kilda. Generally all newly drafted players would have been well gone before the end of June. You'll have to try better than that.
