I wasn't referring to the Barmy Army - agreed they are the real deal. I thought they only went on tours.

The non-BA folks that attend cricket in England though, boy do they pipe down when England start doing poorly. E.g. the 2019 Birmingham test.

The keeper must be able to bat!
He's rapidly overtaken wade as the worst test keeper I've seen.

Trent Boult gets the last wicket of England's second innings, Olly Stone on the first ball of the day!
38 for NZ to win.

NZ win by 8 wickets, stand in skipper Tom Latham hits the winning runs. (He also passes 4000 test runs)

That's a 1-0 series win for NZ and a good tune up for the WTC Final which starts on Friday. I'm really looking forward to that match.

I've come across the below link that's giving live radio commentary of this world championship test.

Currently listening to Brian Waddle and Jeremy Coney talk about the usual UK weather: It's raining at the venue!
Coney, at the venue, says they'll be lucky to get any play today. They do have a spare day.

F**king rain, what an absolute joke.
Apparently it has stopped raining and the match is now delayed due to a wet outfield, inspection at 3pm local time, 11.30pm our time.

Armchair Expert- I absolutely agree it should of been at Lords but it looks like it's raining in London today aswell.

The very 1st thought that came into my head when it was 1st announced that the WTC was scheduled to be played in England was that it was gonna be affected by rain.

And sure enough right on cue its pissing down with the forecast of wet weather for the entire match
Even with a 6th day it will probably be a draw which will make the whole exercise of having a one off Test match pointless.

I know the ICC cant control the weather but they as an organisation have shown themselves to be so incompetent with so many issues over the decades that anything they do is just tempting fate that it will go wrong.

Get the feeling NZ have bowled terribly here, the ball is doing plenty but they cant get the break through.
0-50 could easily turn into 6-100 here if they can bowl a bit better lengths

Jamieson gets Rohit 1-62, has looked real dangerous with his extra bounce and outswing, good catch by Southee low at 3rd slip.
Kiwis need to grab a couple here, get through Pujara and collapse is on

How's Gill walking down the pitch to Jamieson, only to cop a short one flush on the grill

In fairness to him, it did leap off a length, enjoyed watching Jamieson bowl.

Currently 5/156.

In the Windies

SA all out 298
WI all out 149

Yep win the toss and bowl.....

AS Chappeli said, if you win the toss you bat 99 times out of a 100.

The other 1 you think about bowling then you bat anyway.
