R12 Norwood v Centrals Saturday 1410

Postby DOC » Tue Jun 22, 2021 5:14 pm

Centrals coming off a win over West and Norwood had the week off after beating South.

Both sides could be unchanged. Norwood won this one first time around by 5 goals.

I have heard Centrals are too small. I have heard Norwood are too tall. Be that as it it may, I see the redlegs making hay.

Norwood by 6 goals.

Well, it is at the Parade. See the bad pun I just made? ;)

Norwood to win fairly easily I would think, about 7 or 8 goals.

Fair calls I think.

I'm sure our boys will have a red hot go but, as I said recently, Norwood are my pick for the last Qualifying Final spot and I can't see them just settling for the points here.

Eight goals looks about right.

We have played some good footy at the Parade over the last few years… despite generally going in as rank underdogs. Not expecting a win but reckon we might make them earn it…

Bit of rain about the next couple of days will bring the Dogs into this one, Thommo would be praying for a wet winter with his midget army.

I'm going to tip us in an upset with 10 goals winning the game.

Might have blocked that one out! Ok, but (if memory serves) I reckon we won the one before that and last year lost by a kick after Hosko kicked 3 or 4 himself in the last quarter…

Bit disappointed to see Graham out after playing an excellent game two rounds ago.
Our boys will give everything they've got but Norwood should be too strong... by about 22 points.

Agreed would of picked Graham over Marsh.

Marsh offers nothing around the ground

Centrals actually won the 2019 game at Norwood by 3 goals. It was the most recent away win Centrals had before they beat Sturt at Unley the other week.

We drop Tom Graham with a big body on a small ground against a big body side like Norwood and who played his best game for the club 2 weeks ago against the Eagles .We bring in Cooper Dahms who is far smaller, dont know why we couldnt leave Graham in and still play Dahms leaving out someone like OBrien .

Norwood to out work and out desire the Dogs

For something different can you have a brawl at the Northern end this year before the game.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
