Blokes like Higgins, Castagna, Baker, Lambert, Butler and Caddy all played their parts in creating a presence in the forward line that made it almost impossible to get the ball out of their, now sides just cut through them because there's no pressure and whuffer is right, you can't just flick a switch and get that hunger, that desperation back.

Souless team playing at a souless ground .... makes sense. Can't wait to hear from those cocky Richmond supporters who will no doubt complain about free kick count, injuries, playing at Marvel .... blah blah blah.

The Suns fans singing "naa naa nana na naaa waaaay good bye" to Richmond fans was a highlight of the night. Good on 'em!

It was about 2 minutes to go and they had the 9 point lead and I thought the same. Then I thought even if it goes to shit it was fun while it lasted. :D

Pretty much the only 2 minutes of genuine joy they've had as a suns fan for a long time, don't blame them for going a little early and milking every second!

Richmond are way to arrogant at the moment, they are not recovering from here.
Wont be long and Port will have duck eggs again against the top 8 ;)

Are you saying the Swans will drop out of the 8?

Its a possibilty but no i dont think they will, their draw opens up after the next couple, they may find themselves out the 8 temporarily which would make that statement correct

I think Richmond have a heightened perspective of self importance.
The senior players have been the most vocal about not going back into hubs. Given their success, its not surprising, they have been there done that, other things are more inportant to them and it shows in the way they are playing.
Every single other club would do anything to have a shot at winning a flag.

I also get the feeling behind the scenes Richmond are really annoying the AFL, that doesnt get you very far.
The umpires are also not getting them back in the game when they need it anymore either.

Traditionally we are poor in the wet.
Hopefully we can make a game of it but that Geelong side looks too strong
