Return the weight gently to the starting position, it’s not that hard and you will get more benefit from holding the weight longer.

Is this the SA footy poster equivalent to a facebook gym selfie?!

Gees.... I thought it was a fairly simple, straight forward post. It’s an observation about a bloke dropping weights in a gym.

The way the child support system works.

Please note I have no issue with actually paying child support, mine comes out of my pay via my works payroll before I even see it.

Essentially the misses goes from earning $40k a year down to $19k a year (funnily enough within that year she had a new partner who had a cleaning business to which she was working in). Obviously my child support went up dramatically, when blind freddy could see what was happening.

Meanwhile this month my daughters have moved up age groups in netball to now play games starting at 8pm on Friday nights. We agreed that instead of the kids coming to my house that night they could stay with mum and I pick them up at 9am Saturday morning. Stupid me screw myself over as that now takes my level of care down an essentially now paying over $100 more a fortnight, not anyones fault but at the same time I just got a preapproval for a car loan as mine is a write off.

To make it worse the misses broke up with the partner during this financial year and has gone back to full time work so earnings will be back up to $50k a year. I just have to sit and wait though until she lodges her tax return which she has already 'baited' me with saying she isn't doing it to October. Once she lodges it I will be owed money. That's all good and well but last time she owed close to $3k and child support let her back it back at $25 a fortnight over 5 years. That doesn't come close to the hit im taking at the moment because she simply isn't lodging her tax.

The system is so bloody broke I can understand why so many males get disillusioned with it.

Im deadest better off going out to one of the wineries or farms and getting paid cash in hand. I bet if my earns dropped by $50k a year they would bloody look into that quick smart.

Its hard to live a life when your available money can drop in the hundreds at the drop off the hat.

Like I said I have no problem with the principal of me paying child support, just the way the system works makes its very hard to manage as the person paying it. I cant understand why each financial year they don't wait to both persons tax lodgements are made before making adjustment's to that years assessments.

Child support is with my ex wife of 7 years ago. Me and my partner of 4 years bought a house.

Look we do alright and im not complaining about paying child support. Just the way the system works I can lose $100 a fortnight literally overnight whilst the ex wife can delay lodging her tax return so she maximises my current child support rate and then pay it back at legit $20 a fortnight over an extended period with no consequence to her whatsoever.

Not a private business no...….....

I could of honestly done some tax write offs to drop my taxable income down and therefore child support repayments but all that does is screw over my kids.....sadly though the way the system works is that the honest ones are left screwed over.

Lets not get into the fact that there is no responsibility for the receiver of child support to ever evidence what portion of the money is being spent on the kids especially now the kids have an allocation of $100 per fortnight more than they previously had.

Extremely slowly and far too slowly for most fans liking the tide is slightly turning.

Diving is becoming less tolerated amongst the fans and we are starting to see more and more yellows for this still not enough for my liking.

One day it will get there but it should have happened quicker but the governing bodies don't see it as big of an issue

VAR had no choice as all they can determine is whether there was contact or no contact. Whilst it was extremely minimal there was 100% contact made so the decision had to stay.

The issues comes in that it is impossible for a VAR to determine whether an amount of force or contact 'should' bring a player down. A player hitting the deck is a balance issue and can be effected by speed, angle of contact, moment contact is made etc etc keeping in mind one of the most successful tackles in rugby is the ankle tap.

If you running at fall sprinting speed, changing direction and your ankle/foot is tapped it doesn't take much to make them fall, I mean in rugby I'm 80kg and I've easily brought down 120+ kilo blokes with a well timed ankle tap.
