Round 17 – You’ve got a fight coming, and it’s coming today!

As the weeks run out more and more teams are facing their high noon. Are you Poon Army or Sharks trying to extend a lengthy Premier League stay? Or are you Magpie Mafia or Hawkers and trying to stay alive in Division I? Perhaps you are one of the battlers in Divvy II or Divvy III fighting to stave off relegation. For weeks your matches haven’t meant all that much but now suddenly time is running out and the four points on offer are preciousssss.

For those actually contending, do you have the trades or the team that can cope with the late season inflation? Is it time Coliver or Bont got a spell? How soon until Fyfe or Cripps breaks down? As the trades dwindle away you silently curse yourself for any sideys, LTIs and rage trades that you might have done.

Not much to mention on the troops front this early in the piece but it will be interesting to see if Boak lines up for the Porters. Cameron’s injury might not be good news for Danger owners basking in the glory of a smashing 180 last week…maybe the value is elsewhere up forward this week. It’s hard for me to get all that excited this week as I have FISH this week and Ecky the next. So good luck to anyone except those guys.
