Three debutants - Phillipe, Mcdermott and Wes Agar.
I watched a bit early this morning when I woke up and then the end of the innings just before. Apart from Marsh, Carey, Starc, Zampa and Hazlewood this is very much Australia A.
McDermott opening ahead of Wade is interesting and looking forward to seeing how Agar goes.

Felt like the rain delay stopped our momentum, and then after the break Carey just couldn't get going.

He should've put away that stupid lap shot and just looked to play conventionally.

Agree, plays that stupid shot way too much

Ideal start to the WI innings for us!
Obviously Starc and Hazlewood with the new ball is the key to setting this game up.

That's as soft as it gets, just gave his wicket to the Aussies.
Starc and Hazlewood proving to be the keys and it's good to see. Just need to get Pollard now.

Anything more than 20 overs and most of the West Indians either aren't good enough or aren't interested.

Andre Russell is a guy who immediately springs to my mind after reading your comment, he should be in the Windies ODI team.

Lucky we picked Ben McDermott, we would've been stuffed for a keeper if Carey, Wade and Philippe all suffered injuries in the same game.

WI 8/98, Starc gets another ODI 5 fa. That's his 8th 5 wicket haul in ODI cricket, only Brett Lee has more (9).
Starc has 8 in 97 matches
Lee 9 in 221
McGrath in 7 in 249

Who have Starc's been against? I wasn't much of a Brett Lee fan but I assume him and McGrath bowled to higher quality opposition.

Zampa gets a wicket for his troubles.
WI all out for 123, Australia win by 133 runs.
Carey first win as captain, good start to the series.
