Who have Starc's been against? I wasn't much of a Brett Lee fan but I assume him and McGrath bowled to higher quality opposition.

I remember him taking 6 in NZ during the world cup the game were they kiwis won by 1 wicket after we shit the bed with the bat.

I was quite the same as a kid and a young lad, probably up until about 35, my nickname used to be Unisys both on or off the field with all cricket stats, even when we were fielding I'd know exactly what the opposition was on and could give a required run rate to two decimal places at any given time

He should based on his numbers, in particular his World Cup record but his record and how great it can be obviously depends on how many years he keeps playing for (he's 31 at the moment so he might have another 5 years left?) and more importantly how much ODI cricket Australia plays over the next 4/5 years.

Woke up early to watch today's second ODI and it's not on, it's been suspended due to a member of the West Indies staff testing positive to COVID-19.

The toss won done (Australia were going to bat first) then the news came through about the positive case. The decision will be made on whether or not the match will be played at a later date while the rest of the tour is in doubt now too.

That's the frustrating thing about Starc, virtually unplayable on his day, moreso in white ball cricket. The next day he could go for 12 an over though.

Tall left armed quicks that have a vicious inswinger don't grow on trees, look how lethal Mitchell Johnson became and Starc would be taller and quicker at a guess.

I can't wait to see what the next left armed Mitchell will be like.
