It really frustrates me when Dixon misses his easy shots yet nails the hard ones!

I’d hate to be a forward in the Port side, the entry is gross, and you get very little quality entry.

Across all lines they’re quick and slick, but get to 60m and it’s just a bomb down to a 3v4 contest.

It’s been happening for 7 years.

Plenty to play for in Boak's 300th.
The umpires giving us a hand.
Playing a side from the bottom end of the ladder, who sacked their coach mid season, and had no less than 8 of their 21 with less than 10 games under their belt. Add to that they lose their best mid fielder 1/2 way through the first quarter, and lose all balance as they sub in a 211cm forward.

Yet with 8 minutes to go, we are only 3 goals up.

A top 4 team you say?
Geez, we brought back 3 good players and our team still had guys like:

Trent McKenzie - the gold coast suns let him go FFS.
Burton - Hawks gave him away despite heading down the ladder and needing all the players they can get.
Aliir - Sydney give him away and move from outside the 8 to genuine premiership contenders.

Add in the likes of Bonner and Woodcock and we've got at least half a dozen running around that prove we aren't upto it.

ah well, 4 points is 4 points, time to flick over to the olympics.
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!

Drew's best game of the season?
32 disposals @72% efficiency, 17 contested possessions (most on the ground), 5 tackles, 8 clearances (most on the ground), 5 inside 50s (second most for Port) and 8 score involvements (most for Port).

I thought McKenzie was sound, Burton also in patches.. you’re underselling the Pies IMO. Woodcock & Bonner offer little, Marshall cashed in today but relied on a couple free kicks, apart from that wasn’t bad.

It felt like Port were in 2nd gear; and Collingwood were having a serious dip.

Well done to Boak. One of the more likeable 'big name' players in the league, both on and off the field.
SAFC- 60 years...
StKFC- 58 years..

There are plenty of discards who ended up with premiership medallions over the years. McKenzie, Burton and Alir weren't too bad tonight. Just need to keep winning, finish in the top 4 and see what happens come September.

McKenzie is a tryer. Happy to have him when we are short on cattle but he's not the guy that's going to do something special come the last weekend of september. To be fair he's probably the one I dislike the least out of our bottom 6, but the one that's easiest to pick given the suns of all teams let him go.

Burton skills are good but he's scared of shadows. I get the game has moved on from 2002 but compare him as a small defender to say Michael Wilson. I'll take the bloke that has no shoulders and has been out of the game 15 years thanks.

Aliir pulls out of the contest way too often. Trails his man to the ball a lot. Happy to float across the pack and take the 'uncontested' third man up mark, but when it's time for him to hit body, he often waits down for the crumb.

Collingwood had a crack tonight, no doubt, but good sides shouldn't care if the opposition is having a crack, they'll shut them out anyway.
What I'm saying is we aren't a good side while we have the current bottom 6 we have.

Right now i would say McKenzie > DBJ

The problem with PA isn’t their back 6, it’s their inefficiency inside F50.

Highlight Marshall being soft as butter, Rozee oozing a level of arrogance, selfishness and poor in close disposal, Woodcock a genuine SANFL standard, Georgiades lack of peripheral awareness and Dixon demanding ball on head then running under it.
