Carlton have gone backwards this year.

It’s going to be interesting to see what Walsh does in the future as clubs will offer him big $$.

Maybe its time for Carlton to try one of those re-build things that other clubs seem to do to reasonable affect?

In all honesty who was the last team to bottom out and then rebuild with success?
There will be 5-6 teams this year who will find just how hard it is to do.
Teams like Adelaide, North, Collingwood, Hawthorn, Gold Coast as well as Carlton have a few tough years ahead IMO
Hawthorn, Richmond come to mind.

Brisbane whilst havent tasted success were terrible and have rebuilt.

Melbourne are similar to Brisbane, they were rank and are now not shit.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards

No idea, probably Hawthorn after being crap for a few seasons when they drafted Franklin, Roughead et al in the one year and bounced back a few years later.

So maybe Corona Dude is right, I shouldn't engage in the conversation because my club has no experience at re-building after a period of being shite (current shiteness and re-build excluded).

Richmond were average but not shite.
Hawthorn early 2000 weren’t flash but did they finish near the bottom?

It is so hard to rebuild these days it’s why teams such as Geelong, Sydney, west coast and even Port have done so well to not bottom out.
