Yep! Windies should win this now.
Meredith going at 8/9 an over.

That is what he does in domestic cricket, bowls quick but bowls trash

Its a matter of having boundaries in far enough from fixed objects and other hazards that takes the risk of injury out of play.
The playing field is the players workplace and they should not have to worry about being injured by crashing into fixed objects that are too close outside the field of play just going about their duties of making every effort to prevent a boundary or take a catch.

Starc gets Holder but whatever glimmer of hope they had just goes down the drain with Wade making a mess of it at 1st slip putting Pooran down

But if players know the boundaries are fixed they will field with the appropriate measures.

Windies win by 4 wickets.
Pooran 59*
Starc 3/26

Zampa good again and should of had 3/4 wickets, Agar bowled ok but lacked any real potency and Meredith went the journey but the pressure was always going to be on the bowlers after a crap performance with the bat. Pooran and Holders 93 run partnership was very good.

TDK posted this in another thread by mistake i think

Third ODI-
West Indies batting first, all out for 152 in 45.1 overs.
Lewis 55* (carried his bat) (Didn't actually, retired hurt for a period of overs after coping a bouncer from Hazelwood)
Starc 3/43
Hazlewood 2/18 (Pick of the bowlers from the Cricinfo report)
Zampa 2/29
Agar 2/31

I watched the first few overs earlier and now up to watch the second innings. Another good performance with the ball and it's up to the batsmen now, we've obviously struggled with the bat of late so this will be interesting. Henriques and Phillipee listed to open.

About 12 years ago I was at Adelaide Oval watching Matthew Wade bat
I think he made 90 odd
The person sitting next to me said, that Wade would play for Australia
That prophetic person was the person who posted about Matthew Wade , the post before this one

If we go back far enough on this site , you will read how MT79 has spruiked his praise of Matthew Wade
One thing thats impressive is he has made the Australian team as a batsmen , in his twilight years after his wicket keeping days
Now he has the honor of captaining Australia

The man finally gets the role he deserved years ago.
Australian cricket would have seen a return to the halcyon days had M. Wade been made skipper.
