I’d say about 5% chance at best but they will hang on to that chance for dear life.
Brisbane surely the front runner

McGowan has demanded all players vaccinated plus no family members will be allowed into state. AFLPA have already kicked up a stink about both those restrictions. Also required 7 days of hard quarantine (no training). McGowan says he won’t be budging on those demands and he has also said that if a outbreak occurs he would have no hesitation in banning crowds the day of the game with no notice.
SA has its own set of requirements and the capacity will be 50% tops.
If Brisbane guarantees 100% capacity I can see them getting it

so full house at the GABBA despite Queensland having very recent cases and here we are in the nanny state with only 15000 allowed into Adelaide Oval with no cases in a month.
This Grand Final should be ours but it will be in Brisbane, cant see the AFL taking the risk with MacClown, imagine one false positive on GF day and no crowd.

75% in QLD
SA will most likely allow 50% for finals.

Can't blame the injection mate, must be you. It's only the 2nd Pfizer that makes people feel shithouse for 24 hours.
I'd be irritable if my partner was a Crows and West supporter, maybe it's you not the jab? ;)

This is spot on. Due to Miss "duck the football" Queensland will host a shit load of finals and probably the big one.

SA should be doing it but won't.

My wife is Production Manager for an upcoming play at the moment, and also editing monthly reports for the theatre board she is on and for her local Rotary committee, and helping organise a big do for her mother's upcoming 90th birthday party later this year. (Actually for several parties to accommodate various groups her mother is involved with as they won't be able to all be fitted into one venue.)

Theoretically family and friends are coming in from every state, but it is going to depend a lot on what the state of the Covid pandemic is at the last minute.

My wife's mother and one of her sister's are Covid sceptics and anti-vaxxers. So it will be interesting to watch, and the sceptic sister's 18 year old son just exercised his right to choose to be vaccinated at his age, regardless of his mother's objections. As my wife and I have both had our 2 AZ jabs we are watching the developments with wry amusement, while hoping it all works out...
