If they don't get clarkson then the new coach will be just like Teague is/was in two years.

Listening to SEN we the only vic club that can pay him what he wants, how I am not sure.

We will get Ross Lyon, finish 6-12 for 5 years and waste Walsh Weitering careers

They also said on SEN Cerra would likely have to take unders as it appears as though Carlton currently seems his only road home, with other clubs either having other priorities personnel-wise, or are too tight in their cap.

and give up 200k?
I just can’t see it working. Teague knows they want him gone and the relationship between him and Cripps must be beyond repair.

Even more reason to paint them into a corner IMO (which I think Pickering has done for him). He'll come out of it unscathed and be 200k better off for it.

I thought Cerra hated Lyon?
Will cost Carlton this years first pick plus a bit more I’d think

Bigfooty boffins reckon we're "this close" to getting Clarko.

Coach would be on way more than that

Estimated. It's a 6 month payout (roughly 400-450k per year)

If you cast your rumour 'net' so widely, one of them is bound to come true.

He can coach, however his people management skills over an extended period are very questionable.

His record is as good as anyone's, he just hasn't secured the silverware.

He is the only coach to take Freo to a GF and the only one this millennium to take the Saints to one.

Not my cup of tea that's for sure. I think he is a fraud.
