Lined him up and got him. That's worth a few matches IMO.

Ouch

Both incidents should be a suspension. Also not a good look the Kilburn runner laughing about the incident with #19 after he was sent off.

None, its a high fend off, not striking. Footy incident and the free kick was paid.

As for the Kilburn bloke who came off swearing like a sailor well after the accident, then stood next to the camera and continued to use unnecessary profanities, give him 8, 2 for each of the 4 times he was caught swearing.

They’re both niggling at the centre ball up, Kilburn player takes off and the SMOSH player makes a beeline for him, ball happens to land in his lap then he throws an elbow. He’s in a bit of strife. That’s not a footy incident. He wanted a piece of him and he got it. Broken jaw and fractured cheekbone apparently

And you want a bloke suspended for swearing!

You need to get back on your meds Trader. I suppose you also think that Umpire Stevic will get games for allowing Greene to bump him.

https://www.dartfish.tv/Player?CR=p1320 ... 03m6236011 - 90th minute of this game.

They seem to get away with a bit smosh - broke this kids jaw and concussed with a swinging arm and then went and celebrated infront of his fans on the hill was disgraceful

Mitcham player unlucky due to his body position, dropped down with the pressure coming from the blind side. Didn’t appear to be any malice in the tackle.

Image

No report and I note that no smosh players have faced the tribunal this year. Same can’t be said for the majority of this divisions clubs as can be identified in the attached tribunal results.

Broken Jaw and Fractured cheekbone was the SMOSH guy who got wacked at the 43min mark wasn't it?
The kilburn player who wears the fend off at the 14 minute mark was back on later from what I think I saw.

And just for the record, no I don't want a bloke suspended for swearing, that was tongue in cheek, I thought the 8 weeks made that obvious!
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!

Tend to agree.

Watched it a few times and it looks worse each time.

If he genuinely wanted to fend off with an open palm Dusty style he could have, he got the ball and then had enough time to look up and went with the closed fist, forearm, elbow really high to the head. Only the player will know but looked real intentional to me.

As you said probably doesn't help the two were having a little bit of pushy pushy only ten seconds earlier.

A bit like the AFL if you want to bump or fend off that's fine but if you do get it horribly wrong and smash someone in the head then you need to pay the full consequences.

Agree completely from my viewing this was nothing other than a deliberate forearm/elbow to the head - really really bad look for the game. The umpires really need to be better and monitoring this part of the game had to be a send off.
And with the second incident really hard to see how that was only a yellow card, I get in hindsight on review its easy but both acts were atrocious and aren't needed or wanted in the game!

Confused by your point.... it was a deliberate forearm/elbow to the head. Yes from that regard the impact my be low but the same act on someone else could end them up in hospital. Dont always be driven by the outcome. The act is disgraceful

Young fella did come back on after the incident but then had to go to hospital on the sunday witha swollen cheekbone. If he doesn't get suspended for that then the league is a joke. I think our guy is also in trouble.

I'm just going by what i just saw from the footage, the player had the ball and raised his arm to fend off. Was it high and clumsy yes, but you cant say definitively that it was a deliberate hit to the head

the one later in the game from kilburns number 19 where he clearly hits the smosh player in the head after taking the mark is much worse IMO
