The reversal decision was very costly.

But in that last throw in why didn't Brisbane try to get it towards their goals??? Play for the draw...

Second time in two years the Lions go out in straight sets, last year they lost a prelim after beating the Tigers in the Qualifying final. No luck for the Lions in finals of late.

Real hard to not see it being a Melb v Port Granny (which imho would be the best combination of teams)

Yup both are Montys, especially Port after last Dogs Lions clash
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Am sure Port supporters will be hoping for the same umpires that they had for the Round 23 clash against the Bulldogs. First half stats: Port 19 frees, Bulldogs 6. Final stats: Port 23, Bulldogs 15.

Port received more free kicks (465) than any other team in the AFL this season btw.

Yes, there were some poor free kicks Brisbane missed out last night, but it was certainly not one-way traffic: the overturned Bont goal when there was nothing clear to base the overturning on; the free against Daniel for 'lack of intent' that resulted in a direct shot on goal to Brissie; no free kick to Weightman close to goal when he was hit high (which led to him taking no further play in the match).

Cheers

Razor and Meredith from that game are still on the Finals Panel (they did Gee v Gits)
Deboy got cut after the first week of the finals.
