Not sure how you compare these hyped entrances to supporters swaying to a ballad before the siren of a Port game

Agreed, cannot compare the Yanky hype to the Port Adelaide pride.

Wish i could find the classic 1990's every where we go bloke at footy park. That one is brilliant

BTW Port NTUA is corny manufactured rubbish by the marketing department.

Real chants come from the fans not the boardrooms.

That everywhere we go bloke was so funny.

I don't think Port's is corny, I think it's good - and unique to AFL at the moment. Of course it's manufactured by the marketing department, no different to most these College football entrances, but they're not chants and they're designed to engage the crowd, get them involved, create some atmosphere.

"Real chants come from the fans" - such a UK soccer fan thing to say :D

It's ok mate, I don't expect anyone other than Port Adelaide fans to understand.

House of Pains "Jump Around" has no meaning but does the hype as it's designed to do.

They both work for their supporters and that's who it's for, nobody else.

Port is definitely cringe compared to the ones they are referring to.

Is it true Never Tear Us Apart goes for less than 60 seconds so Port dont have to pay royalties?

It's a weird one as the god father this morning swore he'd been kidnapped and that security camera footage of their remote rural property had been deleted when it happened.

I think it has more to do with the attention span of the supporters ;)

Yep, I'd be f*cked of you put me out there for 3 days.

My only thinking is he survived because he didn't move too much, if he'd kept moving, running out of energy, he would have perished.

I thought that but he was found only 470m from the house. Surely the searchers had covered that amount of ground in the 3 days. In the same sense surely emergency services would have saw or heard a car or something if he was 'dropped' back off.
