Game day! Very excited and getting nervous. Not sure how the wet weather will affect the game, will be interesting to see how the teams adjust. In section 310 with my son and my North Adelaide Dad and nephew. Divided family :D
Go the mighty Panthers!!!!

With the rain about today,

North for mine today, South too fragile outside Gibbs, Broadbent, Haines and to a lesser extent Horner Francis and Cross

The rain brings Norwood back into the later game but I think Eagles have too much class but I never completely rule out Norwood in finals.

Is there a logical reason why the umpires are wearing pink?

Surely the lime green is better option to avoid clashes with these two clubs. Obviously white is less of a clash for this crusty old traditionalist.

Is there any logical reason for umpires to wear anything other than white, ever?

Is it something to do with the white shorts clashing? Because that was never a problem traditionally.

Panthers by 22 at the first change, made pretty good use of the breeze to the northern end. North have brought their form from the last fortnight.

North 2nd to footy and a burning the footy

18 mins into the second and I've just turned on the box and cracked an ale. What've I missed?

Howc strong is the breeze. SA players seem to be kicking short or player not getting in front.

South all over North like an STD

North fans are you trimming the bushes next week or giving the weeds a good going over?

General Lees mob by 40 pts at the half

That’s pretty much it, South first to the footy and we didn’t take advantage of the breeze (or weren’t allowed to). Can’t see us bridging the gap.

something appears not right at North

3 to 4 weeks ago playing great footy, being touted as a possible threat to the Bays

all of a sudden playing insipid unaccountable footy, surely not all about by the CEO announcing he is moving on

Is North using the Power's changerooms? Reckon some of last night's malaise has rubbed off on them...
