No we didn't, you must of read or heard wrong, Shaun Marsh won the toss and chose to bat first.

Marsh who is currently 118* has gone past 8000 Sheffield Shield runs and now has the third most SS runs for WA going past Mike Hussey in this innings. Justin Langer (9406) and Tom Moody (8853) are above Marsh.

21 overs, 5 maidens, 3/48 with an Economy of 2.28 for McAndrew, that's a very good job on a flat wicket against two of the best batsmen in the country.

I am guilty as well but WE chucked it in too early. That's us not the players.

Lol WA are still 4/324 at stumps with a deep batting line up.

Yep it's the perfect platform for Cartwright, Phillippe and Inglis to make some big runs tomorrow.

Don't know where RB got his stat from but would be interesting to see other bats that seem to destroy SA on the regular

And Jackson Bird with the leather.

Don't have any more stats I'm afraid folks.

Good analysis mate, thanks for that information.
I actually just realised I can use MyCricket to look up, filter and find stats like who Marsh has scored his Shield hundreds against.

From 02/03 to 16/17 Marsh scored four hundreds against SA and then has scored his other four in the last five seasons.

It appears as though cricketarchive.com is a paid subscription website?
