Australian Domestic Season 2021/22

First Class Cricket Talk (International and State)

Cricket Australia website just shows what we are up against.

Looking up the bowling attack for WA, the only career stats shown are if they have played in the BBL.

Go to ESPN and you have all their stats but especially as this a 4 day FC match, the FC stats are there.

I clicked on Search (menu up top) > Player Oracle. Then fill out player name, opposition, and restrict match type (First Class). Best to select 'Detailed Match List'.

And Bob's your uncle.

The CA Website/App is useless for stats, great for videos and news and the free live streams are excellent.
ESPN Cricinfo is my go to for stats, I just wish they had first class career records like they have for international cricket available to find and view.

WA batting on. Now 7/458 make that 8/458 as Pope gets his third.

Now the fun starts!
Hopefully we can get a 50 run partnership or so to start with.

Why pick him if you're not going to bowl him? Head is a JUNK bowler and has played 120 first class games. He isn't getting any better

Kerber is a left arm Travis Head, not a red ball bowler. Got absolutely smashed. Be careful driving along Port Road while he's bowling

Spring is in the air so that means it's time for Redbacks lotto.

I'm going to be particularly bullish and say 270. Only because I've obviously no idea what the deck is like.

Wicket looking just as flat as when we were bowling. Hopefully Carder or Head can get a big hundred. Or both of them.

Redbacks: Please don't collapse as a result of this post

Half century to Travis.

Absolutely perfect day for cricket. This session will in many ways determine how we go in this game.

Do we declare short and see if WA are keen to set us a target?
