A) law says we can't do it
B) if your child is old enough to own a car, they should be able to do this themselves - and then they say "oh but they work/go to school etc... Honey - we all work, it's all part of being an adult

At which point do helicopter parents stop hovering and make kids do things for themselves.

Question: who pays when they dont do it?
Answer: I organise, and pay for, all of the insurance. It's sort of............. well.......... insurance

I do hear you on the Privacy problem though. Then again, some older masters of the universe have trouble understanding it as well dont they.......... ;)

Yeah you might renew it but at least when buying you make them get on the phone and do it themselves*

You mean the same people that:
Send me a text
I ring to clarify
They dont answer
They send me a text with "what do you want?"
I was going to give you $5,000
They ring
I dont answer
I send them a text "what do you want?"

They are great at that hey?

Whenever my daughter rings me I speak in a real panicky voice saying it's good that her phone is repaired, found or that I'm glad that she's alive as I haven't slept for days waiting for her reply.

When the shoes on the other foot though!!!

If it's my son I just send a question mark every ten minutes.

With the development at the old Footy Park site, they've recently(ish) done away with a section of Troubridge Drv (I think thats the one) so you have to go through West to get back to Frederick Rd.

As a compensatory measure they put in a U-Turn break on the Boulevard opposite the duck ponds, but theres 2 parking bays near it which if in use mean a 3-point turn is required. Just what you want on a main road

Reckon you're on to something. I'd just settled on the patio with a beer to admire my handiwork in the garden. Took less than 5 minutes for me to go back in and return with a mosquito coil. Where did these buggers come from, all of a sudden?
