Methinks they need to bring the ol' swing king out at Karen Rolton.

Same thig happened to the Henley Oval pitch once Trent retired

When he was playing it was always nicely spiced up for the pace bowlers

Really is a disgrace the pitches prepared as roads, does nothing for the game at all!

While on CA; if they really wanted to help the newest Test teams out regarding the all but cancelled Afghanistan match, they would have got a hold of Ireland...or Zimbabwe even. I'll tell you why they wouldn't do that though - they don't have Rashid Khan in their sides.

Zimbabwe are probably still bearing the scars from last time they played a test against us.

Is that when Hayden hit about 743 in the first innings.

Yeah mate, struck at high 80's too, him and Gilly put on 230 odd at about 7 an over, Ray Price nearly got a double ton and just about everyone had a bowl for us.

I've seen social media posts about Hayden's 380 as it was 18 years ago today that he smashed Zimbabwe to all parts of the WACA.

He struck at 86.95, hitting 38 fours and 11 sixies and put on 233 with Gilchrist.
Ray Price bowled 36 overs, 0/187.
Australia used 8 bowlers in Zimbabwe's second innings.

Your memory serves you correctly! @Lightning McQueen

another tame draw at KRO, Tassie didn't even try and make a game of it and ended up at 3/196

Match figures 14/1051

Wouldnt have been a result even if it was a 5 day game

Those match figures are ridiculous.
Khawaja used 9 bowlers in Tasmania's second innings, including himself and Joe Burns.

I see there's going to be at least 1 change to the Redbacks lineup for both the One-Day and Shield matches this week. Sam Kerber is named in the 2ndX1 starting today. Would not be surprised at all that they parachute Nielsen's golden child Liam Scott straight back into the Shield lineup. Has done nothing during pre season due to injury and didn't exactly set the world on fire on the weekend in the T20s. Not sure who'll be the change in the one dayer - probably Lehmann?

Second X1 going well against WA but rain over next two days, especially tomorrow, will mean no chance of finishing.

Daniel Drew as captain was 161 not out when declaring, and Corey Kelly made 86 and taken 4/32 so far.

SA 6/428 dec vs WA 6/206.

I saw that Eags. That's a great effort by those two. These are the sorts of players the Redbacks should be putting time into instead of giving preference to recycled interstaters!!

Marnus Labaschagne fined for his "celappeal" in the recent shield game.

Now please stop appealing for LBW whilst at point or square leg.
