Some good pick ups for Westies there.

Dogs better get busy then.

Fruitful chats with a 198cm defender with over 50 games of AFL experience. Employment is possible obstacle.

198 cms and 102 kgs,
we need to find him a sales position, with potential for a career.

We are, there's a LOT happening right now, hopefully we will get lucky and snag these players on the radar, a few coming from North

Employment always an issue for us.The North players that maybe coming are they from their reserves? We have picked up a few from elsewhere that find it tough at league level and couldnt get a game at their original club.so they come to us .

Not sure if been announced already but former Port Magpie and WWT player Louis Sharrad is a good chance to join West aswell Brodlach. He apparently has aspirations to play league footy again.

Until we address this issue we are going to continue to struggle to recruit high end talent. Unless of course this is just an excuse the club rolls out each time they miss out on a recruit.

Whose role within the club is it? Who is the person within our club that is building an employment network we can try and lean on when we have potential recruits. Whatever the club is doing at the moment it isn't working.

For mine this is the biggest issue Greg Edwards could address at the club.
