I rate my daughter being offered the role of Manager of Aboriginal Inclusion and Wellbeing at the Geelong Football Club.
Will miss her heaps as I've loved having her in my household but nice to know I'll have somewhere to stay in Geelong.
She will be working with all the players 3 days a week and the local community 2 days a week under the mentorship of Eddie Betts.

Even though it's not her speciality having done physio at uni for several years and working a couple of years as a physio it's an awesome extra feather in her cap which could take her to even more places she didn't expect.
I'm so envious as she will be based at Kardinia Park and regularly chat with Eddie and all the Geelong players, coaching staff and admin.
I am so bloody proud and amazed. A dream come true.

PS Hopefully a few side benefits for family too.

It's been a discussion for years, do we start taking the food bowl to where the water is or continue to try & bring the water to where we currently produce. Would love to see more of that water (Lake Argyle/Ord river) used inland for the remote indigenous communities in WA & NT too. I'm far from being a greenie but planting more trees/crops in central Australia can only be a good thing

Round 1 cricket this weekend, round 2 for the tennis with the misses playing her first ever game

Then both clubs back to the pub until stumps to talk shit about the days play and every other aspect of life, whilst hotly debating cricket vs tennis

Saturday routine.

Me - Golf 7.00am; Cricket 12.30pm

Mrs C - Housework in the morning, Tennis in the afternoon.

Meet up at the pub around 7.00pm for a meal and a few sherbets.
