You're referring to the Happy Valley comment yeah? I was just looking at the ex Happy Valley players off the top of my head named for different clubs-
Coro- Slattery, Lithgow, Manly, Hand
Coro Ramblers- Chipperfield
Morphy Park- Hay

Anymore named elsewhere?

Haha nah I was referring to the “recently retired ex-state player” wanting to play in the lower grades that was spoken about in last weeks ASCA meeting.

The fun and games begin.

Flagstaff Hill II, gifted a spot in section 9.
Round one. They forfeit.
Round two. They smash 272.
Our association is a joke

We play Happy Valley at Morphett Vale Oval tomorrow, HV's ground is unavailable. Can anyone tell me if the pitch at MV is permanent 'stick down' matting or do they still set up the matting there? And what condition the ground is in? We have played there once back in 14/15 and it was pretty good from memory.

Oval is in pretty good nick id say. Cant comment on the pitch as i have not been past since footy season.

Do many ACSA clubs have permanent matting? Or some still using the roll out pitches?

Am pretty sure it's permanent matting there.

Played there a couple of seasons back and the surface was pretty good

It looks like Happy Valley Oval will be out of action for a while

A number of ovals around the area are getting new irrigation systems installed.

Fitzroy would be the only ground where I've played at recently that still roll out and set up their matting.

Which clubs grounds in Section 1 don't have permanent matting if there are any?
