I would suggest that IF he did come back, it would be on the Eagles terms after what transpired when he left.

Doubt the Eagles would pay a transfer fee for someone his age.

Yeah I’m not sure his boss after he signed with the Eagles sent him to North to get more money
I’m not sure if it’s just a rumour he’s coming back and how old is he now
There’s also talk power delisted player originally from sturt May end up at oval ave
It’s called the silly season for a reason lol

I'd be very surprised if the Mercenary returned to Oval Avenue. It would certainly be on Sheedy's terms and I doubt whether what the Eagles would be prepared to pay would get past Jarrad's Financial Controller and Boss. We might still have some of the $60K left from the original transfer fee from North but would be reluctant to give much, if any, of this back to the Cheats. "Take the money and run Jarrad".

That rumour has been around for a while. Could be some truth in it. If he wanted to come back the players would have to want him back, the coach would have to want him and it would have to be on the club's conditions.

Has a lovely penetrating left leg and keeps quite fit.

Given we gave Chris Hall the indication he’ll struggle for a game earlier this season, I’d be surprised if they would bring in Allmond for a transfer fee.

If I were Centrals, I'd go hammer and tongs after Boyd Woodcock (if he doesn't find another AFL Club)

Boyd would have a point to prove, a whole midfield unit to lead with the potential to chip in 30 goals up forward too

Granted he's stated he'd most likely only play for North, but Greg Edwards would have a relationship with Boyd from his pre-draft days at Prospect - make it happen CDFC!

JOEL CROSS

This will be hard to Cop for SA barrackers
They will be Missing champion rover Joel Cross according to a fervent South Adelaide supporter

The champ won 2 Magarey Medals 2012 + 2015
The only possible criticism I have for Joel, is if the offer to join Norwood a few years ago , was correct, he should have come over !

Boyd's only 21 and has already won a premiership with North Adelaide, so if he isn't redrafted he would surely return to North.

100% Play at North if not drafted I hope crows grab him in the PSD better than the small forwards we have and can go on ball for a bit as well.

Thanks for the heads-up, mal. This time we won't have to bother calling the police. ;)

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Rookie listed at Port to develop as a back up for Alir??

He'll be gone before the rookie list.
Centrals lads Shay linke and luca whitelum finish 1st and 2nd in the 2km time trial as well.

It was pretty noticeable that Shay Linke could repeatedly cover a lot of ground, linking up from backlines to forwards, when on the ball during the Reserves finals.

Thommo not backwards in singing Alleer's praises. Quite a prominent Age article https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/leek-alleer-leaps-higher-than-nic-nat-and-into-draft-reckoning-20211018-p59104.html
