2021 Trade rumours and discussion

Question must be asked of Gold Coast, how do they end up in the position they are in with just one pick ( pick 3 ) in the draft and have to make these sorts of calls on list management?

If you didn't know why, they delisted Greenwood as you have to make minimum 3 list changes per year. Greenwood off and Greenwood back on is two list changes.

But they also delisted Thompson and McLennan as part of their list changes with the view to pick them back up again? So was there a need for Greenwood?

Still On The Primary List
Still On The Same Contract
Still Been Medically Cleared To Train/Play For Over A Month
Still At The Suns
Still See Everyone Round 1
Was happy to cop the odd clickbait article & social nuff if it meant assisting the club’s overall list strategy.

Really, Hugh?

Yep, not a good look.

Assume Hugh had to agree to the deal? Doesn't paint him in the best light that's for sure.

Also makes the Suns look very silly (even more than normal)
Makes the Suns look like even more of a basket case. I guess an ex afl exec running the joint will do that...
Nothing wrong with what Hugh put out there, noone saw the Roos hiding in the bushes to swoop

He really is dispensable so if they delisted him and North pick him up and his contract they haven’t done too bad

This is what I am thinking...it might have been a move to actually get rid of him off the books

So by reselecting two players they have delisted they have 3 picks
