Exactly.
So why release it now?

Agreed surely there could've been a conversation saying given you're recovering from your neck injury we want you to just concentrate on your keeping.

ABC are reporting these were going to be released by media sources (Who knows how they got them). The women was the one who got the DCM from CT for fraudulent activity.

people complaint about the culture of the Australian cricket team, to me it is symptomatic of the culture of CA.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Matty Wade to the rescue.
He can take the gloves and the skippers band and lead this great country back to the top of the test table

Considering he took over as captain of Australia in Feb/March 2018 after the ball tampering scandal, it is hard to believe Cricket Australia gave him the job knowing what had just happened

He is very lucky to have had 3-4 years doing the job, making a heap of money that he should never have got as it resurrected his career!

So CA hid this so they could rebuild their brand after the ball tampering scandal.

CA employees involved should be stood down here as well

Be nice if the captaincy could have been removed from him before he stuffed up our chance at winning the 2019 Ashes.

Doesn’t the VC stand up?

But that is Cummins and bowlers can't be captains apparently
Cummins is easily the best option.

So he sent her a few text messages after a day on the cans asking if she'd like to have some fun.
She said no thanks, and reported it to Cricket Tassie and Cricket Australia.
He said sorry and didn't text her again.

4 years later, he's forced to quit his job, and has a thousand keyboard warriors calling for his head.

Have I missed something or is there more to it?

From what Tim said, a journo was about to go public with it, so in the best interests of the team he resigned the captaincy.

I see he's named in the TAS 2nd X1 to play against our SA boys starting Monday next week.
I'd be surprised if he plays and if he does it could be the most interest in a 2nd X1 game ever with all the cameras there watching his every move!!

Half his luck if he can send dick pics, I've always had to send pics of other dicks and claimed them as mine.

**** no. He's ok to for the white ball stuff but when it gets tough with red ball cricket his method is to let the ball hit him and then gift his wicket. Very short memory some people. A severely limited player. Got by on 'grit' then threw his wicket away about four times in a manner that would make Usman Khwaja blush.

Give Carey the gig.

He had no luck at all at the start of his career so tbf he was due for some. Kept breaking his hand just after he had made a bright start in yellow at the top of the order. I was a big fan of Paine's until I was subjected to his horrible reactive captaincy.
