I've followed this bloke's scores over the years. Probably worthy of being in the conversation while he's making scores, yes, but he tends to follow them up with plenty of ducks as well.
He has a batting average of 31 after 50+ Shield games. At 29 he probably isn't going to get any better. Having said that, like anyone, if he starts really making runs then absolutely he should be in contention.
