Literally gone back to the same restrictions we had this time 18 months ago pre-vaccine.

Why? To protect those who wont get vaxxed? WTF?!

Agreed, life goes on now, if you're vaxxed you've done what you were asked, if you're not you've accepted the risk associated with that decision.

There are some people who legitimately can't get a vaccine, I am willing to put up with some minor annoyances to protect them.

People who chose not to get vaxxed can gagf

So your prepared to do this for the rest of your life because Covid isn't going away.

Is there though......only close contacts need to isolate hey?? What would be classed as a close contact.

My understanding is if someone comes in with it for more than 15 minutes we need to close for 7 days and have a clean applied.

What's the point of getting vaccinated if life/conditions don't change.

Why should those who openly refuse to get vaccinated live be treated no differently to me.

Oh wow so I can go to the cricket or footy, woopty doo.

Yep, head done in!!!

We have some people wearing masks bitching and moaning at others for not wearing them, the guidelines should be written in crayon with how poorly they are worded.

I'm not wearing one as I don't get that close to anyone and I'll only go to the kitchen when no one is there.

I know this is a poor view on it, someone was at my door flapping their gums yesterday about something they knew nothing about and they were completely wrong, I just couldn't take them serious while they were going nuts with a mask on.

Can’t travel anywhere without vaccination, including domestically. A lot of workplaces are making it mandatory too

Need to quarantine.
Even SA residents who leave the state need to be double vaccinated or go into quarantine on return

If someone is vaccinated its fair to say there is a fair chance they are a anti vaccer, I mean what % of Australians cant get vacced for medical purposes.

If that is the case what chance is there that they are going to self quarantine if they haven't chose to get the vax by this point.

I see discussion on the other subject on Entry to SANFL games re children and vaccinations.

Any way looking on the net thus far in Australia i have read sadly of one death of a 10 year old child a few days ago.

In the USA 700 deaths of children in a population of 73 million children approx 1 death every 1 million.

Lots of good info on the UNICEF site as well have'nt read all the data but this caught my eye.

This is based off 69% of the total global deaths reported by JHU ( 3.3 Million total deaths worldwide.}

Approx 11,700 deaths of children and adolescents reported which is around 0.4 %

https://data.unicef.org/topic/child-survival/covid-19/

So yeah its up to the the parents to make that decision after getting all the available information and not the state or organisations

Why, in Zeus' name, are we opening the borders now?
I was at a mates restaurant last night.
He was shut down in Pizzagate last year and lost a shedload in trade and stock
Why didn't we wait until the week before Christmas?

We needed to open up the state and I applaud the actions.
Yes we may get a few cases but the financial benefits to the state should more than outweigh the negatives
