Absolutely, she must of had itchy fingers last week to give us a good old lock down.

I was at a mates restaurant last night.
He was shut down in Pizzagate last year and lost a shedload in trade and stock
Why didn't we wait until the week before Christmas?
We needed to open up the state and I applaud the actions.
Yes we may get a few cases but the financial benefits to the state should more than outweigh the negatives
We need to open up for the sake of getting on with life.

But also we have had 18months to ensure our hospitals were ready to go and we filed pretty badly there.

Good news Steve says he has created the equivalent of 400 more hospital beds. That's great, there was massive ramping and numerous code whites last night. Do I'm not sure what the hell is going on.

Even without Covid don't call for an ambo.

State is going well without opening up, dollars will be flowing out of the state with people holidaying elsewhere

CBD hotel occupancy down around 28% a few weeks back, now bookings are up to about 88% capacity for the next 3 months. Incoming airport traffic up over 90% already and both Qantas and Virgin have had to put on extra flights than what they had planned such is the demand. People will be flocking here in the next few months

This is what shits me:

Close contact
Unvaccinated

If you are unvaccinated and were at a Close contact exposure location at the specified dates and times, you must:

immediately quarantine for 14 days since you were at the location
get tested immediately
get tested again on day 6 and day 13
Unvaccinated people in your household must also comply with the above requirements.

Vaccinated people in your household need to quarantine for 7 days and get tested immediately and again on day 6.

If the contact is under 12 years old, vaccinated people in the household need to get a test on day 1 and 6 but are not required to quarantine.

Vaccinated
If you are fully vaccinated and were at a Close contact exposure location at the specified dates and times, you must:

immediately quarantine for 7 days since you were at the location (you must receive a negative result in your day 6 test before you can leave quarantine)
get tested immediately
get tested again on day 6 and day 13
not attend a high risk setting for 14 days after exposure
not attend COVID Management Plan events for 14 days after exposure
wear a surgical mask when around others at all times
avoid contact with vulnerable people (elderly, pregnant, young children), avoid non-essential activities where possible and avoid shared spaces and maintain physical distancing on days 8 to 14 after exposure.
Unvaccinated people in your household must also comply with the above requirements.

Vaccinated people in your household need to get tested immediately and again on day 6 but are not required to quarantine.

So we can potentially have to isolate from being at the shops at the wrong time, we will become an even less sociable community.

Basically means if you attend a potentially dodgy site, either try and get away with not checking in, or check in at a second site within 14 minutes to prove you didn't meet the minimum 15 minute threshold.

Thanks for the clarification, I'm usually in and out within a few minutes anyway and generally I'll check into Liquorland upon leaving Coles.

Close contact actually involves talking to the person for 15 minutes, not being at the shops the same time.

If you're at the shops at the same time you're a casual contact.

https://www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/wps/wcm/connect/public+content/sa+health+internet/conditions/infectious+diseases/covid-19/testing+and+tracing/contact+tracing/contact+tracing

This gives a reasonable idea, if you sat next to someone on a plane, you're a close contact and subject to quarantine.

If you were at Brighton Central the same time as them you're a low risk casual contact and not subject to quarantine.

Lot of needless fear mongering in this thread.

I suspect they'd err on the side of close, albeit you'd have to do the right thing and put your hand up and say that is what transpired.

Register your own house as a venue, then check in at home / in your car, etc each time you leave the previous location.
