Personally I won't be ripped off by a taxi ever again. Uber it is for me.

I've had the odd problem with Uber drivers but Uber have always fixed them without further question.
Probably because it has to be a real "pi$$ed me off" and I'm pretty detailed with the complaint

Taxis owners made their own nest and it's too bad as far as I'm concerned
Plus everyone is still getting ripped off by Cabcharge

I dont use Uber Eats though

Took an Uber from the hotel to the casino in Sydney a couple of years ago. They refunded part of the cost because the driver took a shorter route.. Never had anything but positive experiences with them

Parents. I am one, so I feel qualified to say this, but FFS please read any message or email before sending to your child's teacher and and ensure you are using some sort of logic or sound reasoning.

Birthday today (rate) so took the day off to spend with the family (rate) only to have our port river kayak tour cancelled due to high winds (shit) and then get an email... yes email from one of my Engineers resigning after only 3 months on the job to take another opportunity (shit).

Two rates and two shits... cancel out? Hoping the big steaks for dinner tip it into the rates but right now it's shit .

Overcooked chips with my steak at the pub. They were bad enough that when the waitress came back with Mrs Columbo's meal and I asked could I have some fresh ones she said oh yeah they are a bit burnt looking.
Trust the process.

Dear me!!! How would you even consider serving up burnt chips, you'll sacrifice a reputation over 34 cents worth of chips that will take two minutes to cook?

They're a different breed.

I put a basket just inside the lads door a few weeks back and told him that I'll do the washing every Saturday morning and whatever is in it will get washed as I won't pick shit up off the floor.

Every week there's like a pair of dacks and maybe a sock, possibly a t-shirt so that's all that gets washed (except the sock as I won't wash a sock without it's twin).

Then I watch him doing a load of washing on Sunday and thinking he doesn't need pegs

Clothes pinging off everywhere as soon as he walks back inside.

My idiot ( I love him to death) gets absolutely filthy at his work, in a steel yard to that oil on the steel to protect it gets over everything. He's also required to wear long strides and long sleeve shirt, every Friday night we have a few beers together and I say "Put your shit in the wash, it'll be dry tomorrow lunch time".

Then, Sunday's at 5pm I laugh my f*cken head off at him as he asks "Will this dry by tomorrow" and I say "F*ck no"

He's 25.

So there is no hope for miss 15 then...
Every wash on Sunday evening as I am folding the undies and socks, every other member of the family has close enough to 7 days worth except for miss 15 who has maybe two pairs of each at the most.

Nope. not a gender specific trait

Miss 17 has an irregular to non-existent capacity to ensure clothing is in the wash basket on a Sat am.

Mrs AMB recently removed two bags of rubbish from her room (biscuit boxes, chocolate wrappers, other assorted crap)....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Incredible, isn't it?

I did similar a week or two back, few chip packets, a couple of bowls, a few glasses and when I gave him both barrels I got "WTF we're you doing in my room?" he wasn't surprised when I told him "It's actually my room, you just get to stay in it".
