Apparently they don't like "our club culture".

We definitely have a poor reputation as far as the club culture goes, its even reached as far as the Mid North.

I know a few of the ex Doggies up here don't talk complimentary about it and even some of the Eagles lads who ive jokingly talked to about giving Centrals a crack say from they've seen its shit.

I believe our guys have somewhat of a reputation on the town circuit.

A lot of the ex players appear to be very precious too,
"the coach didn't talk to me enough",
"the coach yelled at me",
"my dad didn't like the fact that I wasn't playing in the A's"

Seems like they have their self-opinions mixed up with their capabilities somewhat.

Everyone loves to bring up the golden era, when we didn't suffer dickheads & we had a fantastic club culture,
seems like young blokes have gotten softer,
it's difficult to return to those heady days when players don't seem to be prepared to put in & toughen up.

Do we then have to adapt accordingly to cater for a new generation? Is this one of the reasons we have fallen to the bottom but other clubs are thriving.

Easier said than done I know, but winning changes players attitudes pretty quickly.

Agree. I bet if we start winning games the whole distance to train issue goes missing pretty quick

West Adelaide’s Ronald Fejo Jr is training with Essendon and a chance to be taken with one of the 97 different draft periods available to them
