Closing as in can't get in or out or just need to test upon arrival?

If I get Covid I presume I am able to take sick leave.

If I am a close contact and have to isolate I guess I cant take sick leave and am required to take annual leave.

Surely sick leave for both

Didn’t the government pay people if they had no sick leave here?

Nope, apparently sick leave is only if you have COVID.

Yeah that sounds like the presumption my employer is working under.

That's because the government sprayed them with stuff when they were protesting.

Well it depends it you work for a bit employer or not. Most employers are good and will let you take it as personal leave if you have the leave or can't work from home.

Some are just shit and won't let you.

The state government have come to the party with there restrictions and offered nothing if you can work because your a close contact.

If you are going to put these restrictions on people and stop them from working you need more of a plan.

Either we are living with Covid or we are not.

That was always going to happen though. Bit different with WA as they haven't opened up to the East Coast yet or ever, who knows.
