You know what, I'd take that with the team we chucked out there, our bowling attack looked potent enough and Sidddle aint going for 10 an over too many more times.

I've been very critical of Matt Short over the years but he showed us something, if that freak catch wasn't taken then Weatherald could've been the hero of the night.

One thing I'd do differently and I've said it for ages, I'd open Rashid with the bat, he's never gonna win a game off his own bat down the order as he's a 16 off 9 type of operator, it could unsettle the bowlers with him opening with his unorthodox style during a power play with the new hard nut, worth a gamble IMO, his 16 off 9 there puts us near 30 after 3 overs and we've lost someone that may not have had a hit anyway.

Then the Stinkers can push Nielson down the order .. rather than coming in first drop

You self-confess you don't watch the games, but you get on here to post about the result.

Everyone rags on the BBL.. the standard.. the format.. the players - love getting on here and posting nothing but rubbish (case in point last page referring to Neighbours). If it's so ******* painful for everyone - then dont watch it, and dont come in here dribbling shit.

I would've to see Gibson come out for the last two balls of the powerplay, see if he could find a boundary, then retire him end of the over.

I'm guilty at times, I think the standard is low but then again I've set a pretty low standard over the years.

I have more of an interest in Striker games, I genuinely want them to win despite me thinking they recruit poorly at times.

Basically, I'm a hypocrite.

Genuinely stuff all about the actual games in this thread though - it's all how boring shit is, how people are watching something else, how teeball is ruining the world, how much the Strikers suck.

I just don't get it.

Anyway each to their own.. i dont watch most games, but we watch the Strikers WBBL and BBL teams - kids love them, mrs enjoys it. If it's good for them and gets them watching cricket happy days for me.

Also coz regardless Strikers represent SA and I wanna see success in this state.

I watched from about the 11th over to the 18th. Got bored and went to bed. First time and last time. The only reason I did was that my son was 'watching' the TV in the lounge, and when I say watching, he was on the lounge with the TV on and with his back turned, looking at his phone.

Gibbo pulled his hammy running a not so quick single in over 15/16 I think it was.

Listen to you Mr Grumpy

Only say the result, saw two deliveries of the game when the Stinkers had 7 wickets in hand and needing 70 off 10 overs.

Nielson was crap, couldn't hit it off the square and had three or four sky balls before he got out fall safe, bowlers did well, fluke but amazing catch to get rid of Weathers but Nielson cost them bigtime. Not up to it. Same ole boys club.
And yes, Rash should be batting where he can actually have an influence.
