I reckon the 5th test should be played back in Adelaide and make it just a day test.

We gotta bat yet, I'm tipping neither opener to pass 20.

Marnus and Smith to hold the fort until they walk off this evening.

England paceman Ollie Robinson has warned he will not stand down from any on-field altercations, claiming he will try and “unsettle” the Australians however he can during the upcoming Ashes series.

Robinson, touring Australia for his first Ashes series this summer, is more than prepared for whatever Pat Cummins’ men throw his way.

“The Aussie chat is pretty horrendous if I’m honest,” he told ESPNcricinfo.

“I don’t think me as a person could keep my head down if I tried. I’m definitely going to be trying to get under their skins and try and unsettle them as it were, batters and bowlers really.

“If I can get them off their rhythm then we’re winning, so it’s something you’ll definitely see, and hopefully we will come out on top.”

Poor form Ollie, nicking off on your third ball, didn't even given the chatter an opportunity to warm up!

From ESPN Cricinfo commentators

3.40pm: Still looks miserable and wet at the Gabba. Steady rain with the full covers on, and plenty of standing water on the outfield. Meanwhile, in the UK, BT Sport are showing a pre-recorded segment with England players - led by Stuart Broad and Jimmy Anderson - talking about how excited they are for the series ahead....

Are they both injured or a big selection gamble?

I think Jimmy has a niggle only but Broad is ok.

They expected the deck to be better than that and some hard work for the bowlers.

But really these 2 would have ensured we didn't get past 100. Heck Jimmy would have killed us out there today if we were batting.

Afternoon rain/possible storm forecast in Brisbane today then overnight leading into tomorrow. Hopefully it's not as bad as predicted.
