Eng 2/220 at stumps, trail by 58

Aussies appear in a tad of trouble, Hazelwood didnt bowl last session at all, surely injured, Starc back bowling Villis best, Lyon not looking like getting a wicket

Big day tomorrow one feels, evidently Warner injured with a rib problem as well
if we dont believe in tomorrow where do we go

We saw the best of Joe Root this afternoon, he was in complete control of his game, can he convert another 50 into 100 tomorrow morning?
Malan showing why he is the best option at number 3 for England.
Both Root and Malan 'got a good one early' in the first innings, especially Root from Hazlewood so they've showed what they can do if they can get themselves in, they've done brilliantly to cut down Australia's lead. They've had the best of the batting conditions today but they've still had to do the work and take advantage of it.
Lyon not really threatening them is a concern. I'm interested to hear/read if anything is wrong with Hazlewood.

Great fightback but, even if they make another 200, we still should win...............unless we do a Headingley 1981.

As I said we needed plenty of runs as the 2nd innings here was going to be a hard slog. Pitch has dry out a bit and there is very little for the bowlers now.

Bowled well so far in this test. Hitting good spots with a bit of pace.

Strange shot choice from Pope. Looking to cut the off Spooner with the ball pitching just outside off, I mean which way did he think it was going to spin?

Still Green bowling well. Good lines and with good pace and bounce. Maybe Hazelwood doesn't need to bowl.

Get Hunt or Street in for Harris, don’t care which one

Green bowling extremely well this match, going to be a valuable cricketer.

With these two in there’s still a chance we’re chasing 200+. Half of me wants that to happen so there’s still cricket to watch tomorrow!

This is the most I've seen of the broadcast. Ch7 keep missing LIVE deliveries due to replays etc.

Kerry/Richie would never stand for this.....
