And caught behind off a no ball

No country has won the ashes after being one down in over a hundred years.
85 actually, 1936-37 Australia came from 0-2 to win the series 3-2 (well retain after winning them back in 1934).
Having a bloke called Bradman in the side helps!
1997 anyone?
Ah yes that's correct which makes my post rubbish.

Having said that, I've said it before and I'll say it again, the onus is on the umpires to keep the game moving. Changing gloves every 3 overs, drinks every time they run a 2 or 3, towels to wipe down and the list goes on and on and on. Umpires need to tell them to get on with it and then they should get on with it.
Fox last night was talking about the slow over rate only to interview Labuschagne in a drinks break, Smith actually ended up telling Labuschagne to get moving.
Agree with this.
I'm cautious about punishing just the fielding side, yes they have been slow but the batters are absolutely no better.
Smith changed his gloves after 15 balls last night FFS come on. Batsmen walking down the pitch to chat every couple of balls.
Another big contributor is the fact that the batsmen have become so extravagant and can hit to pretty much any part of the ground off all kinds of crazy lengths and lines. Throw in modern day sport, the big dollars, the over analysis from 360 degree of media and captains just have to try and get each field 100% spot on. Long gone are the days where every batsmen tries to play in the V for their first 50 balls and you just had a keeper, 3 slips, gully, point, cover, mid off, mid on, fine leg.

He really doesn't look Test standard with some of his shots and leaves.
Not only should he have played at the ball that got him, he should have been seeing it like a watermelon.
Then he burns a review.
