Im not sure why they would turn the vaccine free away, Can have 75% either way, just means no stand up drinking if you let vax free in. Just fn stupid rules. Nobody abides by the sit down drink rule anyway, so you may as well declare yourself open to everyone and carry on as you were. Then you wont have to check passports and can get on with pouring beers. Obviously thats not what you want because youre a control freak but its the common sense approach, Are pubs going to have someone on the door checking passports before they enter at 10am in the morning or at 2pm on a Monday arvo or will they come in and infect the front bar before you turn them away? Nobody sticks to the capacity limits either.
If i was running a business i wouldnt want to upset any patrons when you dont have to. People will remember

As a pub we will make a lot more money at 100% seating and customers coming in because they can stand, I'd say all pubs would be in the same boat too.
And plus I only like controlling the morons of society away from humanity. ;)
It's a no brainer, pubs would have probably brought in the rule anyway to avoid law suits and it will just happen quicker now.
I'm stoked, even as a patron where I have no "control" it will be lovely not having to mix with brainless ferals. The world will be such a better place! Can't wait! 8)

Pretty much forcing pubs into a mandate without actually doing it. Basically If you want to get back to 100% capacity then you need to be all vaxxed.

Steve wants a Vax mandate but doesn't want to pull the trigger on it.

Funny how this works a few months out from an election.

Every antivax moron knows of hundreds of kids suffering from myocarditis after getting the vaccine though...

Listened to a Joe Rogan podcast yesterday with a Dr Peter McCulloch - it was a long podcast, around 2hrs all about COVID, vaccines, treatment etc - very interesting.

He articulated well a lot of the waft that Daisy posts, but put it in a way that made sense and was understandable.

Google says he's been fired for spreading misinformation around COVID-19 - but it's hard not to ask some questions around it when you listen to him speak.

During the podcast he referenced a number of stats, published writings/findings etc, fact checking instead of just spruiking his views.

Worth a listen if you're bored i reckon.

Might give it a listen at work tomorrow.

Happy to hear viewpoints on both sides knowing the truth is somewhere in middle.

Positive private school party goer attended the cricket and several night clubs whilst positive even after being informed of the result. Now about a dozen nightclubs and restaurants in the West End shut and thousands in isolation over Christmas

It is to add to the perception that he is an elitist prat who does not give a fig about anyone else.

Which may be true.

I wonder how long it will take for his name to be spread around?

What I found interesting, wasn't the conspiracy theory, or that vaccines are bad (he supports vaccines), but that the biggest issue over the pandemic has been a lack of direction and thought towards treating covid.

Everything has been based around prevention only, and max vaccination has been built up as the only solution for the future - not treating patients early on, or managing the virus at home to prevent with hospitalisation, and then deaths.. also says research shows that COVID can not be caught twice - therefore offering no value to vaccination after having the virus except potential to cause more harm due to the spike proteins.

Said vaccination helps, and has a place, but wont stop people from catching or spreading the virus - and latest trends obviously back that albeit with milder symptoms.

We have treatments for everything else - even basic colds and flus.. we probably should have a treatment for COVID aside from just a miracle vaccine.
