It's changed how my family is going out, just doing essential things and no meandering. Don't want to have to isolate for Christmas. I'm hoping to not get caught out by flying and being in wrong place at wrong time.

I can see why people are not QR code checking though, don't want to be forced to isolate. Tricky situation. The next week will be interesting to see how numbers progress.

I think in the new year I'll be living more like a hermit crab and doing click and collect a whole lot more.

It would be very nerve wracking atm for a couple hosting a big luncheon, they've gotta go out and buy the stuff for it, I'm not sure that I'd be QR'ing.

We have had a lot of our older adult customers asking if they need to QR coz they really don't want to miss Christmas with their family. A couple even saying it could be their last chance at Christmas with their family.

Shit world at the moment.

Oh well at least interstate travellers don't need to test when entering

Previously when entering SA, you needed to have a negative test 72 hours prior to entering. does that still stand or also scrapped?

Sounds like that still stands. They have just scrapped the one that travellers had to have upon arrival on top of that

Honestly, you'd have to have shit for brains if you are asking if you have to scan in, you either scan in or pretend to scan in.

South Australia has relaxed testing requirements for interstate arrivals as the state records 154 new cases of COVID-19 overnight, with five people in hospital.

The state will no longer require interstate travellers to have a COVID-19 test on arrival, if they've tested negative 72 hours prior to travel and don't have any symptoms.

It comes as waiting times at testing clinics across the state reach six to eight hours.

So, after months of Miss Nicola bemoaning how few people were getting tested; they are now up to high levels she wanted.

Lucky SA Health have had 20 months to get their act together or we would have to wait hours for a test.

Worst thing is seeing that idiot Picton on TV every night.
