Yeah we can all give Buttler shit and rightfully so too, his drop of Smith was absolute ridiculous stuff. BUT about 3 of his drop catches were real tough ones that he went for were equal if not tougher to two Carey didn’t even make an attempt.

You are correct, Carey needs to go for those catches, but at the same time, Warner should also be going for the catch. That's why they stagger slips. In Adelaide Warner was jumping out the way and today he got a hand to it, but his weight was going the wrong way.

EG 4/31
Had to expect it
Australia had 6 fast bowlers on the field for that last session
Pat Cummins , Mitch STARc, Scott Boland, Cam Green, Paul Reiffel and Paul Wilson

Moreover in Adelaide on this occasion Carey made a move so Warner was never a chance once that initial move was made by the wk.

Really solid effort by our bowlers today only to be once again be let down by abysmal batting. We do seem to nick everything where as Harris played and missed several times so would be nice if we could miss a few but we simply are an awful batting line up minus Joe. Honestly I can't remember the last time Joe didn't come in at less then 2 for 20.
