There are a stack of hypochondriacs and bed wetters out there that are being tested regularly because they think they might have a sniffle or they visited a exposure site for 12 seconds 2 days after a infected person did.Brodlach wrote:Totally agree, terrible
Confused on testing, they want people to be tested yet Marshall is saying many people getting tested shouldn’t be tested?

Multiple sources, multiple countries of origin on specific questions I have.
But all on the web eh?
Pick up your long bow, I'm not playing along.

Plenty don’t need to be tested and are clogging up the system. Hopefully when RAT’s are more available that will see restring cut dramatically

The definition of close and casual contacts wasn't helping either or travelling from a hot spot location.....Jim05 wrote:There are a stack of hypochondriacs and bed wetters out there that are being tested regularly because they think they might have a sniffle or they visited a exposure site for 12 seconds 2 days after a infected person did.Brodlach wrote:Totally agree, terrible

One of the key issues is having a national standard and some consistency across the country.heater31 wrote:The definition of close and casual contacts wasn't helping either or travelling from a hot spot location.....Jim05 wrote:There are a stack of hypochondriacs and bed wetters out there that are being tested regularly because they think they might have a sniffle or they visited a exposure site for 12 seconds 2 days after a infected person did.Brodlach wrote:Totally agree, terrible

Had 2 tests in the past month due to these classifications despite showing no symptoms what so ever!

Recently a mates wife was a close contact and they got themselves tested and the kids as well. It could be argued that he probably didn't need a test, but as he put it so eloquently that he was within close contact (sex) with his wife for more than 15mins (all his mates doubt this very much) during her alleged infection period that he would have it if she had it.Jim05 wrote:There are a stack of hypochondriacs and bed wetters out there that are being tested regularly because they think they might have a sniffle or they visited a exposure site for 12 seconds 2 days after a infected person did.Brodlach wrote:Totally agree, terrible

And I’d take that with a grain of salt as many aren’t even bothering to be tested.Booney wrote:Whilst I'm not looking at cases alone and hospitalisations etc, NSW, 21,151 new cases today.
