If Green contracts it they have Marsh
If Carey is positive they have Inglis
If any other batsmen goes down they have Maddinson.

Seems they are just covering for the possible threats.

They could play with 10 and still beat these useless twits!

That's been very kind to England..

Yes, that would be the most logical way of running the squad now you'd think.

Matthew ' tiger' Wade
Just name him in the squad

He can open the bowling
He can be wicket keeper
He can be a batsman
He can captain the team
He could probably bowl off spin as good as Nathan Lyon

MT79 do you agree ?

He has bowled in a test match before and was never really given an opportunity to further that.

Geez it gets hard when you get to the last 4, Haddin wins for me, Wade saved by winning the T20 world cup for us

My bottom two were a toss up, Healy took the honours as he was a blatant cheat and we're still having to see and hear him on the TV, at least Haddin is only on the radio.

If your a good bloke as a ‘keeper are you really a ‘keeper??

Beg to differ, even though it was at community level I'd plonk myself in the slips and yap all day at the batsman yet I was always looked after well in the opposition clubrooms post match.

You can be a pain in the arse without being a dickhead.

Healy and Haddin just came across as downhill skiing floggers in my opinion, both lacked the digger spirit that blokes like Gilly and Marshy had.

Seen a snippet yesterday rating Australia's best slip fielders of all time.

5: Greg Chappell
4: Allan Border
3: Bob Simpson
2: Mark Taylor
1: Mark Waugh

Any thoughts?

I thought Chappell could've been higher up the list, I didn't see bugger all of Simpson so I can't judge him, Mark Waugh deserves the top mantle and I thought AB was more of a gully or a mid wicket type operator.

Warnie used to go alright in the slips too for memory.

3-0 up, he isn’t part of plans going forward surely. We need to start bringing in some youth and now is the perfect time

Yeah, no need to get all logical and stuff, you're right, I'm wrong.

I guess I was being a bit sentimental and thinking that he deserves the spot as he's been NIL, I'm happy to concede this one.

6/7 may have something to do with it, he is more like for like for Hazelwood too IMO.

Richardson would be more like for like with Cummins I reckon, if there is such a thing.

Because he took a six wicket haul to bowl Australia to victory in the most recent test match and was named man of the match. The selectors, coach and captain have obviously backed him to go again, not that much of a surprise he retained his spot I would of thought.
