For all the 722 pages, shit has somehow got more real with posters now infected. I expect over time we will all get it to a greater or lesser degree. Speedy recovery to those that have it and all the best to those waiting their turn.
Good luck all.

My son caught covid at a festival in Melbourne. He's double vaxxed.
Describes it as a very mild hayfever.

It’s really strange you say that as SA Health gave me a window of when I caught it and I was literally home that whole period apart from a 10 minute trip to Hungry Jacks when I went in an ordered take away as they always F**k up my burger so I went in to order it. So 10 mins and it looks like that’s where I caught it.

FYI- Cheesy Bacon Jacks fried chicken burger with peri peri is literally the best burger I’ve ever eaten 8)

Just talked to my son and they haven't told him what strain he has, I assume he has Omicron since it's no worse than mild hayfever but shouldn't they tell people since Delta seems so much worse?

Luckily I'm not sick or havnt been as bad like you.
I was really careful in the week leading up to Christmas so no idea where I got it from. I went to woollies and got petrol in Augusta on Christmas eve while the wife and kids were dropped off at the playground. The only place I have been different to them for probably 3 weeks now!

The inlaws caught it from me, but my own family can't

There isn’t the ability to test every case genomically to see what strain it is.
When you see stats like “there is 80% Omicron in SA” they are randomly checking about 40 cases per day only and basing their figures off that

Are you serious?
Thousands of cases daily and they’re checking about 40 daily?
Very small sample size then.
Their stats are completely useless if that’s the case.

I wonder what other states are doing here?

I've had symptoms since Monday.

I went to get tested at Viccy Park yesterday afternoon. It took me longer to drive around the track than get tested!
There were about 12 cars in each line but this still made you drive around the racetrack, past the grandstand, at 10kms.
25 mins from start of line to test. Waiting for my result now

Strange how you can get anything despite doing all of the right things: masks / wash hands in and out of places / social distance
Maybe I got it vertically drinking & dancing in my backyard!

Is it true NDIS disability carers are allowed to work despite being positive to Covid because of the shortage of staff.

It's happening all over the health care system
You can't pass it on if you're vaxxed so no problem

I made a troll comment in the local rant and rave facebook group

The discussions was what parents are doing regarding school

my comment was " I'll be educating my kids with Joe Rogan podcasts, potatriot rally speeches and Alex Jones infowars. No way are they going to school to be indoctrinated. "

I am getting a shit load of people supporting my comment, too stupid to realise I'm trolling.
