Finally back on and playing
SA 2/143 97 to win
SA are favorites but boy oh boy runs are hard to come by and one feels it will take just 1 wicket for India to be right back in this.
Will be one of the great chases by SA if they win this considering the nature of the pitch
Test cricket at it's best

Going to be a beauty of a third test. No love lost between the two side and history on the line for India. I didn't realise they have never won a series in South Africa.

Good result for Australia regarding the test championship as well.

SA tour Aus next summer so would be good for them to find a few bats to make it a competitive series.

Their bowling is quality Rabada, Ngidi, Nortja, Olivier and I don't think Maharaj is too bad either
Dave Warner will be missed!

Yes the 5 quicks plus Maharaj is a very good attack, looking forward to seeing them in Aus next summer, especially Nortje, he's a jet.

My son flicked it over to the Banga's game. Fast bowler steams in, opener nicks it to second slip, it's dropped by second slip, goes almost to the boundary where the fine leg sweeps around, picks it up and throws it to the keeper. The keeper realises the batter is out of his ground and pings it at the non strikers end and misses the stumps. Problem, there is no one backing up. The opening bowler runs toward the boundary where the ball beats him to the rope.

All in all, a 7 off of one legal ball. I can't say in all my time I've ever seen that happen before at this level.

Imagine being the bowler. Gets a catch dropped which goes for 3, only to be turned into a 7 AND having to field the ball off the rope yourself.

They've since just given another overthrow 4 away. The same opening bat had two scoring shots after lunch. A nick through slips for 7 and a quick dab into the mid wicket position for 5

WG Grace was stated- ‘If you when the toss and it looks perfect bowling conditions, stop look up at the cloud cover reconsider and bat anyway!’

Loved it. In all my years as Captain I don’t think I ever bowled first after winning the toss.
