He’s just not up to it.

Uzzie to open next test

You know Head will miss out, lock it in.
Head will not miss out and is automatically back in for Hobart guaranteed.
At this stage Khawaja will miss barring injury or selectors doing a u-turn on Harris

NOTHING GUARANTEED IN LIFE EXCEPT DEATH

Kind of is when the selector comes out and tells the world he ‘guarantees’ his spot this series

Yeah I’m not sure Bailey will ever make those kind of statements again. Should have known better

I think I'd rather Uzzy than Head in the team at the minute.

It has to be Harris, the selectors are just going to have to bite the bullet and concede, albeit it might upset some people

Dead rubbers are the matches the Aussies lose

Dizzy and Bill Ponsford are the only Australians to score 200+ runs (aggregate) with the bat in their final test match.

Every chance Khawaja joins them.

Then Bailey and the other selectors jobs would be untenable and they need to resign on the spot

Yeah, if I’m a fringe player I lose all trust and respect for the selectors

Nup. Made 203* in the Perth test, then played in Melbourne and Sydney, making not much, and was dropped for the next series.

Then two seasons later he played one more test, making 67 and 27.

I think this just goes to show how silly it was for Bailey to make that comment.
