Were you not told that you should have a result within 72 hours? Think that's the standard line

It's amazing how now he's very sorry and all that and his family now have no hard feelings to the Australian Government now. All just a misunderstanding. How about that when there is the prospect of still getting your visa cancelled all of a sudden your not a massive arrogant flog.

Everything about this has been a joke. Why doesn't Tennis Australia just come out and say they want him to play. He's the world No.1 of course they want him here.

We all know that there one rule some another for others.

What annoys me is that we still have the government trying to show that that's not the case.

TA are in more strife than the early settlers
I read somewhere they owe ~$50m to the Victorian Govt from last years Open so they will do anything to get the best players here - even bend their own rules (which they did)
I'd still love someone to check Djokovic's positive test result for authenticity

looks like I could be on the money with Jokovic

Some German journalist used the QR code on his certificate and got into his medical records for that positive test
Lo, and behold, it said he tested negative

He's played a dangerous game with all of this
His "incorrect" answer to his travel could be a criminal offence
He's also facing charges in Serbia for not isolating (but I doubt that's going to happen)

Having a criminal conviction is not going to be a good thing for his future travel plans...............

I have some not negotiable personal rules in life: never **** with border control / customs or the ATO. They never forgive nor forget.

What does it achieve to send some back 2 weeks after the 1st lot?
Makes zero sense as they’ll all end up at school anyway.
I’ll have 1 at school and 1 back 2 weeks later.

Let’s be honest, the dickhead never really tested positive a second time. He’s surely out of this country by end of day Friday and whilst many will say there will be international heat on the Australian Government, I’d suspect there will be more on the Serbian government for assisting in this absolute bullshit attempt to get through a loophole in a foreign country. I hope it’s proven and he’s thrown in jail temporarily before he’s deported.
