Pant and kohli are a good combination here. Whilst Pant is scoring freely, he is not going the tonk. Kohli very watchful.

Would love to be wrong but I can’t see SAF chasing anything over 230-240
again.

India have lost 55 wickets in the series thus far.

50 have been catches. That is a record for any three match series.

Another start for Kohli and chance to make his next international century evades him.

Make that 53 of 58. All 18 in this match caught. India 8/180. Pant 87 not out.

There has never been 20 wickets all caught in a test for the one side.

Interesting they took the 2 runs with 3 balls in the over leaving Bumrah on strike, gets out next ball.

I would still back India here but can’t help but feel that left some runs on the table out there

SAF defended against Pant well. His strike rate went well down towards the end when normally it would increase,

The batting of the South Africans has held up so much stronger than I thought it was going to.

I've been extremely impressed with Keegan Peterson, coming up against one of the worlds best attack on the most bowler friendly wickets on the planet and he has looked very capable.

Reminds me a bit of miniature version of Labuschagne (minus all the hysterics). Just a very compact, tidy batsmen who seems to have a passion for making runs and knows his game well. Doesn't have any 'headline' shots but is solid all sides of the wicket, short and full. Also has a slightly modest FC record like Labuschagne had as well albeit his is slightly better than Labuschagne. Seems to have a big heart and fight for the contest as well.
