Lucky I've got a TV in the bedroom with these early starts! Great start by Short today. Renshaw was useless.

Would've been good if Head and Kezza could've rushed over here today to play this arvo. They'd both be a little seedy today at a guess.

A win secures a finals spot, a loss would mean we need the Hurricanes to beat the Stars Wednesday or the Hurricanes to lose both remaining games to both Melbourne franchises.

Gaining the bonus point only tonight would also lengthen chances - would put the Strikers 3pts + NRR clear of the Stars - they'd need to collect all 4pts against the 'Canes.
